We all know how hard it is to get out of the house on any given day! But sometimes, the stars align and there we are, getting out, kids it tow! And sometimes we are even going somewhere fun!
That’s what happened on Thursday. Snacks were packed, kids were dressed mostly appropriately (we are going through a purple phase, maybe you can relate) and we were headed to The Funnery for the YRMBA playgroup. My girls really like it there, so it is a win-win for anyone…they play, I get to socialize with other moms. And socialize we did! In between watching the kids go down the slide or climbing through the tunnels with them we had some good conversations!
Sitting at home later having a cup of tea while the girls napped I thought about how thankful I am for days like that ☺

The sale runs from 8:00am-11:00.
Members can beat the line and get in early at 7:30am.

YRMBA is actively trying to grow our association and improve the support and services that we provide for our members. As such, we have chosen a few areas to focus on and we would love your help. In terms of a time commitment, we feel that it would require about 2-3 hours of your time over the course of a few months. Most of this could be done online, therefore committee members could choose to work together in person or via email etc…
We would like to form subcommittees to work on the following:
1- New Member Package- this would include updating the list of local stores that provide discounts for multiples and tweaking the documents that we have available to us through our association and MBC to make them relevant to our group.
2- New Member Info Sessions- this would include coming up with relevant topics for our new members as well as developing a schedule of session dates, times and locations as well as advertising to our membership.
3- Adult Social Nights- this would include coming up with themes, dates, times and locations as well as advertising to our membership.
4- Clothing and Equipment Sale- this would include helping out the current subcommittee with the organizations and advertising leading up to and during this event.

The time has arrived! We’ve officially changed our name from Newmarket POMBA to York Region Multiple Births Association (YRMBA).

It’s also time to unveil our new logo designed by Amplified Communications! We feel the name and logo speak to what we represent as an association.
